Ray Kirkland | Senior Pastor

Pastor Ray Kirkland became the Lead Pastor at Harvest Assembly in June, 2019. Working with the leaders and the incredible people of Harvest Assembly, he is very intentional and passionate about leading people to discover Jesus, salvation and to empower them in their Christ journey. Harvest is a cause-driven Church with a focus on reaching people. We understand that we have been rescued to be rescuers, and we have been helped to help, healed to heal and loved to love. Harvest is a multi-generational, multi-cultural church for all ages and stages of life. As Lead Pastor he casts vision and empowers Harvest to fulfill its commission from the Lord to ‘make disciples’. He believes Harvest is to be a regional hub where people from all walks of life come to flourish in every area of their lives.

For over 40 years Dr. Ray has been an apostolic voice and leader. He is known for his wisdom, and innovative, daring, and creative leadership. He has the ability to inspire the best in others and raise high quality leaders. Many of the pastors who have served their apprenticeship under him are now Senior Pastors of thriving churches or leading movements. Under his direct pastoral and apostolic leadership over 1200 churches have been planted and as a result of these, hundreds more.

Pastor Ray and Gail, following their commitment to encourage leaders and other churches, have traveled extensively to many nations and worked with missionaries and evangelistic teams in mission work, and to launch various international ministries such as churches, orphanages, schools, rescue houses, and medical assistance both stateside and abroad.

Pastor Ray and Gail have a happily blended family with 6 children and 14 grandchildren and counting! Together, one of their greatest joys is to host area pastors and leaders for refreshing times of vision-casting, leadership-development, fellowship and inspiration. He is desperate for God’s anointing, and passionate to see children’s lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. He is passionate about reaching the most reachable people group…the children.

Although Pastor Bill does not have a formal education related to ministry, the call of God into ministry has always been evident, and demonstrated by his service to the body of Christ. Since the age of 17, Pastor Bill’s primary involvement in other church bodies, including Harvest, was the leading of worship. When he came to Harvest in 1985, he was quickly asked to be a part of the worship team as well as provide leadership in the Royal Ranger Program.
