Josh Bissell | Youth Intern
Josh has been a member of Harvest Assembly of God since September 2024. He began serving as a church intern at the start of the summer, assisting with the Youth Ministry, Worship Team, and Social Media. Since July 2026, Josh has been overseeing the Youth Ministry while Pastor Skye is on maternity leave.
Josh is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a minor in Christianity and Culture at Regent University. His passion for youth ministry began in 2022 while serving with Salt N' Light Youth Ministries, where he helped teach and preach the Gospel through creative arts. At just 18 years old, he also served for four months as an interim youth pastor. After attending Harvest for a year, Josh felt the Lord leading him to become more involved, and he began volunteering with the Youth Ministry before joining the church staff.
Originally from south-central Pennsylvania, Josh now lives in the Hampton Roads area while attending Regent University and serving at Harvest. In addition to his role at Harvest, he is actively involved in campus ministry at Regent, serving as a Team Lead and as a member of the Regent Worship Team. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports—especially volleyball—and plans to continue competing on Regent's Men's Collegiate Volleyball Team. Josh's heart is to help people discover their identity in Christ and to see the next generation develop a genuine, lifelong relationship with Jesus. He is passionate about equipping young people to live boldly for Christ and is committed to continuing that mission both at Harvest and wherever God leads him.
