Bill Sparkman – Associate Pastor
Pastor Bill and his wife Anita, were both raised here in the city of Chesapeake. They have been married over forty years, have five adult children and five grandchildren. They have attended Harvest Assembly since 1985. Pastor Bill has served the body of Christ in numerous positions since his salvation in 1973. For the first 20 years of his walk with Christ, he primarily served by leading worship. In 1998 he was asked to become a part of the staff as an Associate Pastor. His responsibility were to oversee the Children’s Ministries. God had been preparing him to minister to children long before he received the official role. Miracles associated with his own children had a profound influence on his vision for the Children’s Ministries. He carries great expectations for what God wants to do in and through children. He is desperate for God’s anointing, and passionate about seeing childrens’ lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. He counts it a privilege to work with our children and to serve the body as an elder.

His primary interests are in promoting the Body of Christ to its full potential, demonstrating God’s Kingdom on earth, and equipping disciples for Christ especially in Christian/Kingdom education. He has three children and one grandchild.
