Skye Stewart | Youth Pastor
Pastor Skye Stewart became the Youth Pastor at Harvest Assembly, in March 2022. Her heart is to see middle and high school students become passionate about seeking God, and then using that passion to share the Gospel in their schools, homes, workplaces, friend groups, and community. Outside of normal Wednesday night youth services, she loves to lead students to Christ through weekend events, local outreach, missions trips, youth conventions, and just hanging out!
In 2018, Pastor Skye graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media. She is currently in a ministry program through Global University, to become ordained as a minister within the Assemblies of God. While serving in a local youth ministry in 2019, God called her to work in youth ministry full-time. For the following three years, Pastor Skye worked at People’s Church in Fresno, California within the youth department. During that time, she was able to gather skills within worship ministry, small groups, planning events/youth conferences, building Bible study curriculum, public school outreach through Fellowship of Christian Athletes, global missions, and community outreach opportunities.
Pastor Skye was born in the Bay Area of California, but has been a Virginia resident since 2007. After 5 years of living in different states, she has decided to come home to serve at Harvest, and to be near family again! Aside from being involved in ministry, she enjoys spending time at the beach, the movies and with friends. Pastor Skye’s hope is to see students fall in love with Jesus, while having the most fun possible, because life with Jesus is far from boring!
