Joan Baker | HOB Director
Joan Baker has been a member of Harvest Church since 1992. She serves as Director of the House of Blessing (HOB), a benevolence ministry under Harvest. As Director, Joan oversees the daily operation of HOB, she acts as a liaison between all the vendors (Food Banks, Diaper Banks, etc). She also works specifically with those in need of Financial Assistance.
Joan has served in a number of capacities here at Harvest; she helped with the Missionates, assisted with Vacation Bible School and most notably, volunteered at the House of Blessing for over 20 years before stepping into her role as Director.
Joan has been married for 47 years, she has 2 children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. While her passion is the care of HOB, her hobbies include playing and swimming with her grandkids. Her goal is to see HOB grow, not just in the number of people being given food, but in the number of people being given Jesus. Ultimately, her goal is to win souls for the kingdom!
